Our knee high socks for women are one style in six colourways: the Core Stripe Knee High Socks, made with 70% organic cotton, 27% recycled polyamide and a little elastane. They finish below the knee rather than at the calf, which is what separates knee high socks from a crew sock.

How high do knee high socks sit?

Just below the knee, and that is the whole difference from a crew sock. The leg is long enough to sit under a boot or over a legging. These are knee socks for women in the sense that matters for fit: the length is the feature, not a detail.

The six colourways

The stripe is a two-colour pairing, and it is the only thing that changes between the six pairs. They run black and white, white and black, white and aubergine, white and soft pink, white and strawberry, and white and tangerine. The blend is identical in all of them, so choosing between these knee high socks in 70% organic cotton is a colour decision rather than a fabric one.

Every pair is made with 70% organic cotton, 27% recycled polyamide and a little elastane. A sock has to stretch over the heel and come back, which is what the 27% recycled polyamide and the elastane are there for, and the cotton is the majority of what is left.
