Our slouchy socks are one style, the Soft Slouchy Socks, made with 71% organic cotton, 26% recycled polyamide and a little elastane, in Nutmeg and Matcha Green. They are knitted to a crew height and cut loose through the leg, which is what the slouch refers to.

What are slouch socks?

A slouch sock sits gathered rather than pulled up. These are cut loose through the leg, so they sit slouched around the mid-calf rather than holding a line, and the product page calls it a relaxed fit. That is the whole design, and it is why these read as loungewear more than the Core socks do.

The blend

At 71% organic cotton with 26% recycled polyamide and a little elastane, the cotton is the majority of the fabric and the rest is what lets a sock stretch over the heel and come back. The same proportions run through both colours, so the choice between them changes nothing about the fabric.

Sizes and colours

Sizes are 35-38, 39-42 and 43-46 rather than single numbers, so one size covers several shoe sizes. The two colours are Nutmeg and Matcha Green.
