Basics made with TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres
Almost everything on this page is made with TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres: underwear, bralettes, tees and shorts. The Everyday pieces sit alongside them at 57% cotton, made with TENCEL™ Modal fibres rather than TENCEL™ Lyocell, and a few Flex styles are cotton with elastane and no Lenzing fibre at all.
What is TENCEL™ Lyocell?
A fibre made from wood pulp by Lenzing, sold under that name. It is not cotton and not a conventional synthetic; it sits in its own category, and what you notice wearing it is that it is smooth and drapes rather than holding a shape the way cotton does. TENCEL™ is a trademark of Lenzing AG.
Which pieces are made with TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres?
The Premium and Soft Touch ranges. The Premium Trunks and Premium Boxer Briefs are the men's underwear; the Soft Touch bralettes, briefs, shorty and thong are the women's, with the Soft Touch Boxy Tee, the Soft Touch Cut-Out Bralette and the Soft Touch Veil Plunge Bralette among them. All are made with TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres and elastane, with no cotton in them at all.
TENCEL™ Lyocell or TENCEL™ Modal?
Both are Lenzing fibres from wood pulp, and they are not interchangeable. Everything in the Premium and Soft Touch ranges here is made with TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres. The Everyday pieces are 57–95% cotton made with TENCEL™ Modal fibres, so they are cotton-led and belong to a different fabric family despite the shared trademark.
