Scoop bras, from a cotton bralette to a seamless one
Our scoop bras are mostly cotton, made with 90–95% organic cotton, with others in at least 70% recycled nylon. A few are made with TENCEL™ Lyocell or LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose fibres instead.
What is a scoop bra?
The neckline is a wide, low curve across the cups, rather than the straight edge of a bandeau or the point of a triangle cut. Nearly all of ours are bralettes: no underwire, pull-on or with adjustable straps, giving light support rather than lift. In searches they turn up as a scoop neck bra, a scoop neck bralette, a low scoop bra or a scoop back bra, and they are all this same shape.
The cotton scoop bralettes
The cotton styles are made with 90–95% organic cotton and elastane. The Flex Bralette is the plain one; the Flex Lace Scoop Bralette adds a lace trim and a ribbon bow; the Core Open Back Scoop Bralette is cut away at the back; and the Core Rib Tank Bralette is the tank shape in a ribbed knit, on thicker straps. If you want a cotton scoop bralette with nothing else going on, start with the Flex.
The Soft Touch bralette
The Soft Touch Scoop Neck Bralette is made with TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres and elastane.
The seamless two
The Smooth Bralette is made with 91% recycled nylon and elastane, a full-coverage scoop with no seams through the cup. The Pointelle Bralette is the other seamless one, made with LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose fibres and 29% recycled polyamide, in an openwork pointelle knit.
Which scoop bra for which neckline?
A plain tee wants the Flex, a low top wants the Smooth, and the open-back style works under anything cut away at the back. The Core Rib Tank Bralette is the one that can be worn as a top.
Sizing, and the other cuts
Nearly every scoop bra comes in XXS to XXL, with XXXL on most styles and XXXXL on some; some use band and cup or numeric sizes. For something different, see the full bra collection, the bralettes with no wire at all, or the active bras designed to handle a bit more movement.
