What is the difference between joggers and sweatpants?
It is a difference of name rather than of cloth. As the words are generally used, a jogger gathers at the ankle while a sweatpant is left open, and the styles here carry both names. The cut each one takes is drawn on its own product page, which is where to check before choosing between them.
The fits
Loose fit and straight leg describe the thigh rather than the ankle. The Weekend Loose Fit Joggers and Weekend Loose Fit Sweatpants are cut wider through the leg; the Weekend Joggers and Weekend Straight Leg Sweatpants follow the leg more closely. Pairing the two decisions gives the styles here: a gathered or open hem, in a looser or a closer cut.
The fabric
They are all made with 100% organic cotton with nothing blended in, so there is no composition to compare between them and no elastane in the leg. That is unusual on a sweatpant, where a synthetic is often added for recovery, and it is why the choice on this page comes down to fit and hem rather than to fabric. Colours and sizes
The colours are Black, Emerald, Misty Blue, Misty Grey Melange, Odyssey, Soft Lilac, Soft Pink, Steamy and Vibrant Red. Sizes run XXS to XXL across the range, and to XXXL on the Weekend Joggers and the Weekend Straight Leg Sweatpants.
