Five activewear jackets, three fabrics
We make five cuts of active jacket: at least 60% recycled nylon on most of them, 100% organic cotton on the heavyweight track jacket, and a 50% recycled polyester blend on the zip-up. Between them they cover warming up, cooling down and layering over everyday clothes.
The cotton track jacket
The Weekend Track Jacket has a boxy cut and a heavyweight fabric, made with 100% organic cotton. It is the least sporty of the five, and the one to wear as an everyday jacket rather than a gym jacket.
The fitted zip jacket
The Active Zip Jacket is the close-fitting one, in at least 60% recycled nylon with elastane, soft-brushed on the inside. It has extra-long sleeves and thumbholes at the cuffs, which is what makes it the workout jacket of the five.
The two retro track jackets
Some styles take the retro route. The Track Jacket has a mock neck and contrast piping; the Track Half Zip Jacket is a loose pullover in a lightweight ripstop. Both are made with 88% recycled nylon and a little elastane.
Which active jacket is the heaviest?
The Weekend Track Jacket, the heavyweight 100% organic cotton one. The two ripstop track jackets are the lightweight ones, and the Active Zip Jacket is brushed, in 60% recycled nylon.
The zip-up
The Track Zip Up Jacket is the technical-looking one of our active jackets, made with 50% recycled polyester blended with cotton and a little elastane. It is the one to reach for when a fitness jacket has to pass as a normal one.
What goes underneath
Any of these activewear jackets layers over our women’s active tops, with active leggings for women or bike shorts underneath.
Sizes and colours, and the wash
Nearly every style comes in XXS to XL, and most also come in XXL and XXXL. Colours run from Black and Walnut to Azure Blue, Ocean Breeze, Strawberry, Summer Wine, Pink, Vintage Pink and Misty Grey Melange. Machine wash cold and hang to dry rather than tumble drying.
