Men's ankle socks, made with 75% organic cotton
We make one men's ankle sock, the Core Ankle Socks, in three colours: made with 75% organic cotton, 19% recycled polyamide, 4% polyamide and a little elastane. They come in three size bands by shoe size rather than by clothing size.
How low is an ankle sock?
The cuff finishes just above the ankle bone — higher than a no-show sock, which hides inside the shoe, and lower than a crew sock, which sits mid-calf. That makes men's ankle socks the ones that show a band of fabric above a trainer and sit below the line of a boot.
What the blend is for
The 75% organic cotton is what you feel. The polyamide and the elastane are the structural part of the blend — it is a stretch blend rather than a pure cotton sock, which is why the cuff can stretch over the heel and return.
Colours, and the longer version
The three colours are Black, Grey and Hazelnut, which covers most of what ankle socks for men get worn with. If you want the same blend higher up the leg, our men's regular socks are the crew-height version.
Sizing by shoe size, and the wash
Sizes run 35–38, 39–42 and 43–46. There is one sock here rather than a range, so the only choices are colour and size. Pick by shoe size: a sock that is too long bunches under the arch and one that is too short pulls off the heel. Machine wash cold and skip the tumble dryer.
