Everything in this edit is cotton: the styles here run from 57% to 100% cotton, with nothing on the page outside that. Tees, long sleeves, tops, sweatpants and crewnecks sit together, which is what makes it an edit rather than a category.

What is in the back to basics products edit?

The plain end of the range. The True Heavy pieces are 100% cotton with no elastane, in a boxy cut and a long sleeve version. The Weekend Loose Fit Sweatpants are also 100% cotton. The Everyday pieces — the scoop neck and regular long sleeves, the boat neck top — are 57% cotton made with TENCEL™ Modal fibres, the lowest cotton content here. TENCEL™ is a trademark of Lenzing AG.

The two ends of it

At one end the True Heavy styles: thick, 100% cotton, no stretch, and they hold their cut. At the other the Everyday pieces at 57% cotton with TENCEL™ Modal, which drape instead. Both are cotton-led, so the difference you feel between them is weight and drape rather than fibre.

Tops and bottoms together

The Weekend Crop Crewneck and the Weekend Loose Fit Sweatpants are the sweat pair, in 100% cotton. Because the whole edit is cotton, a top from one end and a bottom from the other still sit in the same family. The wider women's tops and men's T-shirts pages carry the blends this edit leaves out.

Sizes and colours

Sizes run XS to XL on nearly every style, with XXS on some and XXL on most. Colours run across the edit, from Black and Clay through Azure Blue, Cloudy Blue, Eclipse and Elderflower Green.
